Racing Tournaments
How Racing tournaments use batteries, result screenshots, participant aliases, supporter activation, and Gazette coverage.
Racing tournaments organize drivers through batteries and race days, then turn verified results into standings, media context, and Gazette stories.
- Racing catalogs can manage cars, tracks, classes, and game-specific options where available.
- When the tournament reaches the supporter threshold, Racing Results AI can prefill a battery result from a final standings image.
- Aliases help match game usernames with Ranko users before staff verifies the official result.
What improves
Batteries and standings
Structured batteries keep categories, race days, positions, times, points, and media links together.
Results AI
A final standings photo can prefill the result draft, with staff review required before saving.
Gazette coverage
Completed race days and richer context help the Gazette write more complete Racing articles.

What counts in Racing?
Points, placements and results actually recorded in heats count alongside actual participating drivers and their strength. Zero points or a recorded retirement can be valid results; future or empty heats do not lower the average. Personal PR uses the best 5 results; federal PR uses the best 3 within the period.
Where does the video bonus apply?
Valid YouTube and Twitch videos improve only federal qualification results, across all sports. In team sports the video relates to your own matches; in Racing, coverage of a heat benefits all its actual participants. Multiple URLs for the same match do not stack bonuses. Video coverage can add up to 35% to the federal result, in proportion to covered matches.
Does closing a tournament early remove PR and prizes?
No: valid achievements already earned can produce PR even if a tournament closes early through interruption or time expiry. Available prizes go to positions actually earned at closure, subject to tournament rules and resources. Unplayed matches do not create achievements.
