Sidebar guide
Learn how Player and Manager views work and why some items appear only when needed.
Player view
Shows essential navigation for searching, joining and following content. Shop and Games appear after 14 days; Shop can appear earlier after a completed purchase.
Manager view
Immediately shows Ranko TV, Gazette, Shop, Games and available management areas. It is designed for people who organize events, tournaments or entities.
Enabling Manager
You can enable it from the Avatar tab in User Settings. The sidebar selector first asks for confirmation; if Manager is already enabled, it does not ask again.
Automatic activation
Manager view activates automatically when you become staff, owner, president, director or manager of a league, federation, page or tournament.
Tasks in Player view
The Tasks menu stays hidden in Player view until you receive a pending invitation or are assigned to a task. It then appears automatically.
Tools menu
Tools appears only when it contains at least one available feature, such as Community Reels, scouting, match videos, rosters or Madden tools.
