Competitive leagues

Leagues and official competitions

A League is an organization created by an Avatar to manage tournaments, members, and competitive activities around a theme such as a game, a sport, or a community. Each League has a single Commissioner, a support staff, and its own League wallet in Ranko Points.

Leagues are never deleted. Management can change, but their competitive history and League wallet always remain tracked.

League structure
Commissioner and League staff

Each League has only one Commissioner: the Avatar responsible for the League, its members, and the tournaments it runs. The Commissioner can appoint staff members to help with moderation, signups, and competition management. In the future, leadership can be transferred to trusted staff members. A League cannot be hidden or deleted and remains active so participants keep the stats earned in it.

Members, requests, and participation

Avatars can request to join a League or be invited by the Commissioner or staff. An Avatar can belong to as many Leagues as they want. Pending requests, approvals, and internal roles are handled from the Members / Requests section.

Ownership transfer
Passing the Commissioner role

From League Manager > Members, the Commissioner can transfer management to an eligible staff member. An explicit confirmation is shown before the transfer.

By confirming the transfer, you lose main ownership of the league: the slot and management move to the new Commissioner and the league no longer appears in your League Manager as before.
Create and unlock a new League

Creating a League is an important step: it opens a dedicated competitive space with tournaments, rankings, and its own League wallet.

Unlocking a League with Ranko Points

Creating a new League may require an unlock purchased with Ranko Points in the store. This rewards the most active and engaged Avatars before giving them responsibility for a competitive community.

Core data and League identity

Once unlocked, you configure the League by filling in name, tag, description, organization type, country, supported languages, and other details. These details are shown to Avatars searching for new Leagues to join.

League history

The history section collects official League results: Racing podiums or American Football finals with videos and deep links.

Historic tournaments and results

Each historic tournament is recorded with the year and its main protagonists. The information remains public on the League profile.

Videos and linked Ranko TV content

When you add videos to League history, a dedicated Ranko TV collection is created to show races and official content.

League wallet and Ranko Points
The League Ranko Points wallet

Each League has its own wallet, separate from the Avatar wallet. League Ranko Points can come from fully completing the League data, organized tournaments, such as entry fees or redistributed prizes, and other system bonuses. This rewards not only individual Avatars, but also active and well-structured organizations.

Leagues are built to last over time. Once created, they are not deleted, so history, results, and wallets are preserved. You can still update staff, transfer management, and change rules to match your community.

Power Ranking Tour

Why is my PR different in each league?

Internal league PR considers only results earned in that league during your membership and after its ranking started. It can differ from personal PR and rankings in other leagues. The organisation’s prestige is a separate value.

How does league prestige matter?

Playing tournaments organised by a prestigious league increases the value of your personal and internal league results. Prestige reflects profile, members, activity, content, history and federal achievements. The tournament’s organising league matters; its contribution is not added twice in qualification.

Do wallets and supporter packs affect PR?

Tournament Ranko Points value and valid supporter packs contribute to competition value within limits. They matter alongside participation, opponents and league prestige. Free tournaments add no economic value to league prestige, but can contribute to other aspects of its activity.
