The Ranko Gazette
Learn when the Gazette starts, which articles it prepares, and where to find them in Ranko.
The Ranko Gazette is the public newspaper inside the app: it follows active tournaments, tells what happened, and publishes articles automatically.
- To start, a tournament must receive at least 20 EUR in total dedicated supporter packs.
- The Gazette does not publish at random: it waits until a week, matchday, or race is truly completed.
- When an article goes out, Ranko also creates a post connected to the tournament and its organizers.
The 3-step path
1. The tournament receives support
The Gazette activates when a tournament receives at least 20 EUR in supporter packs donated to that tournament. It can be one purchase or several purchases: what matters is the total collected for that tournament.
2. The Gazette waits for the right events
After activation, the Gazette follows the tournament calendar. In Madden it covers completed weeks, Play Offs, the Super Bowl, and specials such as preseason, rookies, market, statistics, Draft, and closure. In Soccer and Basketball it publishes matchday recaps and phase articles. In Racing it publishes articles for completed race days in the main category.
3. The article is published
When the right moment arrives, the article appears in the public Gazette. Ranko also creates an automatic post visible in the home feed, posts page, tournament, organizing league or federation, and mentioned user profiles.
The Gazette and Ranko TV are not the same thing
The Gazette writes automatic articles and recaps. Ranko TV collects videos, podcasts, replays, and YouTube or Twitch links added to pages and tournaments.
Richer data, better articles

Power Ranking Tour
Do wallets and supporter packs affect PR?
Tournament Ranko Points value and valid supporter packs contribute to competition value within limits. They matter alongside participation, opponents and league prestige. Free tournaments add no economic value to league prestige, but can contribute to other aspects of its activity.
Do sanctions change all my PR scores?
It depends on the context. Federal sanctions affect qualification in that federation without automatically becoming personal PR penalties. Sporting penalties can change competition results. A warning alone deducts no points. PR details distinguish the initial value, penalties and final value.
