General rules of conduct, sportsmanship, respect, and fairness for all league participants.
Active section: Preamble

General Principles of Conduct and Sportsmanship

These rules define the general standards of conduct that all participants are required to follow throughout all league activities.

The objective is to ensure a serious, orderly, balanced, and respectful competitive environment in which every participant can compete fairly and responsibly.

The pursuit of victory must never take precedence over the fundamental values of sportsmanship, loyalty, fairness, and mutual respect.

Each participant is therefore expected to behave appropriately both during games and in communications with other league members and staff, actively contributing to a positive and cooperative community.

Unsporting, provocative, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate conduct that conflicts with the spirit of the competition may be reviewed and sanctioned by the staff in accordance with these rules.

General Principles

Fairness, Respect, and Cooperation

Each participant is required to act fairly, respectfully, and in good faith toward opponents, staff members, and the entire community.

Registration and participation in the league imply acceptance of these rules, the league’s organizational procedures, and the decisions made by the staff in the interest of the proper conduct of the competition.

All participants must cooperate responsibly by providing the requested information, respecting deadlines, and contributing to the prompt resolution of any organizational or technical issues.

Any concerns, objections, or disputes must be communicated to the staff in a civil, clear, and constructive manner through the league’s official channels.

Sportsmanship and Fair Play

Sportsmanship and Conduct During Competition

Every participant is required to maintain sportsmanlike conduct before, during, and after each game.

Insults, provocation, offensive or unsportsmanlike behavior, undue pressure on an opponent, and any conduct intended to create tension within or outside the game environment are not permitted.

The competition must be conducted with respect for the opponent and for the spirit of the league. Participants must avoid any behavior that could disrupt the game, compromise competitive fairness, or negatively affect the experience of other community members.

The intentional use of bugs, glitches, regulatory ambiguities, or game mechanics that conflict with the spirit of the competition may be reviewed by the staff.

Where such conduct has significantly affected the outcome of a game, the staff may review the result and take any action considered necessary under the league rules.

Communication Between Participants

Communication, Scheduling, and Dispute Management

All communications between participants must remain clear, polite, respectful, and focused on resolving problems.

Arrangements for scheduling games must be made within a reasonable period of time, with both participants demonstrating genuine availability and cooperation in finding a suitable date and time.

Each coach is expected to respond to messages without unjustified delays and to promptly report any difficulty that may prevent the game from being played as scheduled.

Discussions, disputes, complaints, and reports must be submitted to the staff through the official channels designated by the league.

Public arguments, direct accusations against other participants, personal attacks, and the publication of content intended to create or escalate conflict within the community are not permitted.

The staff may moderate communications and take any action considered necessary where a participant’s conduct is inconsistent with the principles of respect, cooperation, and fairness established by these rules.

Commitments to the Schedule and the League

Availability, Deadlines, and Participant Responsibilities

Each participant is responsible for their own availability, for meeting the deadlines established by the league, and for promptly communicating any circumstances that may affect the regular scheduling or completion of games.

In the event of organizational difficulties, technical issues, or unexpected unavailability, the participant must inform both the opponent and the staff as soon as possible and actively cooperate in finding a suitable solution.

Repeated absences, unjustified postponements, failure to meet deadlines, or a lack of cooperation in arranging games may be reviewed by the staff and may result in sporting sanctions.

Any such action may be determined by considering the frequency of the conduct, the circumstances of the case, and any negative impact caused to the opponent or to the regular progress of the competition.

Role of the Staff

Staff Actions and Unforeseen Circumstances

The staff may take any action considered necessary to protect the integrity of the tournament, competitive balance, and the well-being of the community.

Each case will be assessed by considering the seriousness of the conduct, the relevant circumstances, any repeated violations, and the impact on the proper progress of the competition.

In matters not expressly covered by these rules, the final decision will rest with the staff, who will apply common sense, sportsmanship, equal treatment, and consistency with the league’s previous internal decisions.

All decisions will aim to ensure fair, transparent, and consistent management of the competition while protecting the interests of the league and all its participants.
