FIDAF-IML Tournament Regulations
Italian Madden League
The FIDAF-IML tournament is a competition organised over two seasons. Participant selection and team assignment are managed by the staff according to the following rules.
Available FIDAF teams
The tournament uses a pool of FIDAF teams suggested by staff members and users. The staff reviews the suggestions and defines the final list of teams available for the competition.
32-participant Serie A
Serie A consists of no more than 32 participants. Available places are determined each year by taking the Power Ranking of eligible candidates into account.
Annual Power Ranking review
Before each of the two seasons, the staff considers the current Power Ranking. Power Ranking is used as the sporting criterion for ordering applications and determining the composition of each division.
Optional Serie B
If the number of eligible participants exceeds the 32 places available in Serie A, the organisation may arrange a second Serie B tournament. Additional participants are assessed according to Power Ranking and the available organisational conditions.
Team assignment
Teams are assigned exclusively by the staff from the approved FIDAF team pool. A suggestion or preference submitted by a user does not create an automatic right to receive that team.
Competition duration
The tournament lasts for a total of two seasons. The competition ends after the second season. Any later edition requires a new organisation process and a new assessment of participants.
