IML Rules — Season and Game Organization
Italian Madden League
The calendar, game agreements, results, video URLs and Power Ranking are managed through Ranko Universe. External channels may be used for reminders, but the data published in the app prevails.
Week duration
Each week lasts for the period shown in the official tournament calendar. Staff may advance early only after every game has been played or resolved administratively. Dates and times shown by Ranko Universe are official.
Game agreements
Agreements must be managed through Ranko Universe. Coaches may propose availability, agree on a date and time, accept, mark themselves unavailable, use the related conversation and publish CPU availability. In a dispute, the app history is the primary evidence.
Auto Pilot and failure to agree
Auto Pilot may be used only when necessary and, whenever possible, by mutual agreement. Unavailability must be recorded in the game agreement. If no agreement is reached, staff may order Sim To Win, Sim To Lose, neutral simulation, an Auto Pilot game or an exceptional extension. Notice given fewer than 48 hours before advancement may result in a Sim To Win for the opponent.
Sim To Win, Sim To Lose and Power Ranking
A Sim To Win must be run with starters in the depth chart. In the playoffs, Auto Pilot normally results in Sim To Lose unless a documented exception applies.
A simulated game cannot produce an eligible coach video: that game’s boost is lost and average coverage decreases. Ranko Universe currently grants a 35% bonus for each game covered by at least one eligible YouTube or Twitch URL. The configured value displayed by the app is always official.
- Every game covered: 1.35 video multiplier.
- Half of games covered: 1.175 average multiplier.
- No games covered: 1.00 multiplier.
YouTube and Twitch do not stack on the same game. The bonus belongs to the individual coach and side. Duplicate or reused URLs may be excluded.
A Twitch VOD qualifies only while available. If removed, Ranko Universe excludes it and recalculates the boost. Coaches are strongly advised to preserve broadcasts on YouTube and attach a permanent URL.
CPU and Auto Pilot games
The coach may choose a Sim To Win or play with no more than two total attempts. Sim To Win earns no video boost. A played game qualifies only when completed, recorded, linked to the coach, still available and not duplicated. Recording does not allow extra attempts; a documented crash must be submitted to staff.
Replacement coaches and playoff admission
Playoff admission for a replacement coach is decided solely by staff. Ranko Universe attributes Power Ranking from the effective takeover and team assignment time. Earlier results are not fully attributed to the replacement and season components are prorated to actual management. A late entry provides fewer games, less video coverage and less opportunity to build a high PR.
Disconnects
Coaches must preserve screenshots or video showing score, quarter, time, possession and relevant details. They may agree on a replay or reconstruction; otherwise they must use Report. With fewer than 24 hours before advancement, staff may immediately impose the necessary resolution.
Official calendar, preseason and offseason
The official calendar is displayed in the tournament Calendar tab, general calendar, profile and related events. It controls weeks, advancements, preseason, Regular Season, market, Free Agency, Draft, offseason, playoffs, breaks and deadlines.
WhatsApp, Discord, chat and other channels are reminders only. There are no alternative calendars: Ranko Universe prevails. A staff change takes effect when updated in the app. Preseason and offseason durations are also those configured in the tournament calendar.
