RaceRoom has set out plans for SimRacing Expo week, including a stage presentation in Frankfurt on October 17 and a new look at its upcoming Historic Update on October 16. In its October 12 announcement, the developer also highlighted Glasbach, a German hill climb recreated in RaceRoom for the FIA Esports European Hill Climb Cup final, and outlined a fresh Week 42 Ranked Multiplayer schedule. RaceRoom says its next Grid Talk will arrive on Friday, October 16, with more information about the Historic Update. The announcement does not specify which cars, tracks or other content the update will include. The preview gives players an upcoming point to watch, but the developer has not provided a release date or further details in the supplied announcement. RaceRoom says it will be at SimRacing Expo in Frankfurt from October 16 to 18, alongside Ascher Racing and Track Time. Its Content Reveal is scheduled for October 17 at 11:30 CEST. The announcement says the Expo’s official programme includes links to stage livestreams for people unable to attend. It does not specify what will be shown during the presentation beyond sharing more about what is ahead for RaceRoom. According to RaceRoom, finalists in the FIA Esports European Hill Climb Cup competed at Glasbach in Luxembourg the previous weekend. The 5.3-kilometre German hill climb was recreated in the simulator for the competition. RaceRoom describes the course as a narrow, barrier-lined road that shifts the challenge from circuit racing to a climb. Its use in the final provides a first look at the venue in the game. Public release details have not been announced, so the competition appearance does not confirm when, or whether, players will be able to access it. RaceRoom says Week 42 brings new Sprint, Feature and Weekly Races. The announcement directs players to the in-game Ranked Multiplayer menu for the full combinations, formats and start times; it does not list those details in the post. The announcement also features a community screenshot of a BMW M4 DTM at Spa-Francorchamps, credited to Fuga_TGR, and a video by DevilSoul5x showing a Carlsson SLK 340 JUDD on the Nordschleife. RaceRoom says the video includes its setup at the end. The schedule gives players several upcoming RaceRoom dates to follow, while the Glasbach announcement establishes its use in the Cup final without setting expectations for a public release.
