Le Mans Ultimate has received version 1.3, with official patch notes posted on Steam News on March 31, 2026 by LewiEdmo.

The update spans core technology, gameplay, online systems, input support, and content additions, including the Genesis GMR-001 Hypercar made free to all players and multiple additions for DLC ELMS Pack 3.

For racers, organizers, and streamers, the most important changes are the stability and fairness updates around online play, team events, championships, and race control, plus the improved input and broadcast systems.

What the official update changes

The headline items in V1.3 are broad. The patch adds Haptic Feedback support for TrueForce, general force feedback, and other devices, and it also adds Logitech TrueForce support, Logitech default controller profiles for the RS50 and PRO wheels, and more vibrotactile effect settings. The developers also say input latency has been decreased and input signal handling cleaned up.

On the technical side, the update replaces the CEF UI system with Coherent, adds occlusion culling on vehicles, improves clock synchronization for online stability, and includes various optimizations intended to improve loading times. The studio also says loading performance was reviewed, with gains of around 20% expected.

The broadcast system also gets a significant update with the latest WEC styling and dynamic deployment to make updates easier. Infrastructure for Balance of Performance has been updated as well, with the goal of allowing more flexible changes.

New content in V1.3

Content additions are a major part of the patch. The update adds four extra Paul Ricard layouts: 1a, 1av2, 1av2-short, and 3a. It also adds Circuit de Barcelona and the Duqueine D09 LMP3 as part of DLC ELMS Pack 3.

The Genesis GMR-001 Hypercar is added free to all players. In addition, the update adds WEC, National and International Silverstone layouts.

These additions matter for leagues and content creators because they expand the track and car combinations available for events, broadcasts, and endurance-style race planning, while the free Hypercar gives every player access to a new car without requiring the DLC pack.

Online racing, championships, and team events

Several fixes target online competition. The game now fixes an issue where entering a championship you had already joined could still show the registration screen, and it updates the splitting algorithm so low-participation classes never receive a non-official race.

In team events, only players with Clean, Trusted, or Warning status and a minimum Bronze 2 SR will be allowed to take part. The notes also list fixes for being unable to repair damage in team-based events, as well as a car warping issue after driver swaps when the other driver was not on the server.

Online race results and standings also receive attention. The patch addresses cases where clients who crash or alt-F4 could be placed incorrectly in standings, and it fixes some end-of-race result reports showing players in positions different from their finishing positions. The update also improves handling of time drift when playing online, which is relevant for long sessions and endurance-style events.

Race weekend, gameplay, and pitlane behavior

Gameplay and session flow receive several corrections. The update adjusts Real Road profile ranges so lower profiles have more grip, fixes a game crash when loading a car setup before a race, and addresses damage not always being repaired when yellow or orange damage is shown on the HUD.

The patch also fixes a partial outlap at Sebring that caused incorrect fuel estimations. In Race Weekend, cars that DNF after a stint begins no longer remain DNF'd after restarting the stint, default grip levels are increased by one level, and the Race Weekend Season Select component has been updated to stop elements from moving.

For event directors and league admins, these changes should reduce confusion in race weekend management and cut down on recoverable-session problems that can interrupt a scheduled run.

HUD, graphics, engine, replay, and localization

The HUD receives multiple corrections, including fixes for a small amount of suspension damage not appearing, a blank AMR Valkyrie LMH motor map notification when changed with a button binding, and stretched or misaligned HUD output on triple screens.

Graphics and engine notes include optimized TGA texture loading, added logging for GPU crashes, additional values for the plugin system, and fixes for a rare HUD crash reading tire compound information. The patch also mentions fixes for some CTD issues on machines with ARC GPUs, plus improvements to ELS and logextra performance degradation detection.

Replay and save/load also get fixes. The game now avoids showing the race timer as 00:00:00 in standings during replays, and it fixes the radar showing when accessing replay. Localisation is expanded with Korean translation support.

Why this matters

For players, V1.3 is not just a content drop. It is a systems update aimed at making the game more reliable in online competition, more flexible for team events, and more usable with a wider range of hardware.

For tournament organizers and league administrators, the tighter online rules, standings fixes, time drift improvements, and driver swap corrections are the most operationally significant changes. For streamers and broadcast teams, the broadcast system overhaul and easier deployment should reduce friction when updating presentation layers.
