Assetto Corsa EVO - Where Simulation Meets Freedom

The Free Roam game mode in Assetto Corsa EVO will be hands-on playable at the Sim Racing Expo 2026. Marco Massarutto takes us through the developmental journey of Assetto Corsa EVO and where it’s going next, the decisions made along the way and what you can expect: from a 1:1 recreation of the Eifel, to a driving sandbox built on simulation, to the challenge of mastering the road itself and experiences shaped by players and the community. This is a closer look at the vision behind Free Roam.
