Madden NFL 27: Create and Use Custom Rosters in Franchise

Create the custom roster

Use Madden’s roster management/customization tools to edit the roster you want to use. Save the file with a clear name so you can distinguish it from live or default rosters.

Load the roster file

Before creating the Franchise, load the custom roster in the appropriate roster/file management area. Confirm the expected players and ratings are active before you continue.

Import it into Franchise

Start a new Franchise and choose the roster option that uses the currently loaded/custom roster instead of the default live set. Review the initial teams before committing to the league.

Existing saves

A roster file changes the starting point of a new Franchise; it does not normally rewrite an already-created Franchise save. If you need major roster changes in an existing league, use the editing and transaction tools available inside that Franchise instead.
