The 2026 cars produce much more electric power, so full deployment drains the battery quickly. EA recommends precise manual use rather than holding maximum boost for long periods.
How it works
EA's master guide recommends setting ERS Activation Mode to Hold and using short one-to-two-second bursts in fourth or fifth gear when exiting slow corners onto long straights. Power also tapers after release instead of stopping instantly.
