How it works
ACC, Big Ten, Big 12 and SEC champions receive automatic bids; the highest-ranked champion from the American, C-USA, MAC, Mountain West, Pac-12 or Sun Belt also receives one, and Notre Dame auto-qualifies if it finishes in the final Top 12. The four highest-ranked teams receive first-round byes.
