Swiss women’s flag football tryout registration opens

The Swiss American Football Association announced tryouts for October 24 in Langenthal.

Registration is open for tryouts for Switzerland’s women’s national flag football team, the Swiss American Football Association (SAFV) announced on September 25, 2026. The tryout is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, at Sportanlage Hard in Langenthal, starting at 9:30 a.m. SAFV said registered players will receive the team’s offensive and defensive playbooks before the tryout so they can prepare in advance. The announcement also asks players, if possible, to keep October 31 and November 1 available. Games with Finland’s national team are planned for that weekend in Biel and Neuchâtel. The tryout is an opportunity to seek a place representing Switzerland in women’s flag football. The association’s announcement provides the registration information on its website. The details in this report are based on the September 25, 2026 announcement from the Swiss American Football Association.
