Invincible VS sets October 13 for open beta and roster expansion
Xbox Wire confirms Angstrom Levy as the game’s third DLC fighter and 21st playable character, joining as part of Season 2.
Invincible VS has set October 13 as the start of its open beta, according to an announcement published by Xbox Wire on October 1. The same announcement confirms that Angstrom Levy will join the game that day as its third downloadable-content fighter and 21st playable character.
The paired milestones put the game’s next public-facing test alongside a measurable roster change. That gives players and competitive-game observers a clear date to track, though the supplied announcement does not detail beta access, modes, platforms or rules.
A roster milestone in Season 2
Angstrom Levy’s addition brings the confirmed playable-character count to 21. Xbox Wire identifies him as the third DLC fighter and says he is arriving as part of Season 2. Those numbers establish the scale of the update without indicating how the wider roster is balanced or how Levy will perform.
For players comparing character options, a new fighter can broaden the roster’s strategic possibilities. That is a general implication of adding a playable character, not a claim about Levy’s specific strengths: the source does not provide gameplay details or balance information.
What the date tells competitive players
For tournament organizers and streamers, October 13 is a confirmed point on the calendar for both the open beta and a roster expansion. It may be useful when planning coverage or monitoring the game’s competitive development, but the announcement does not confirm tournament plans, beta restrictions or whether the new fighter will be available in the beta.
The distinction matters: the beta start and Levy’s arrival share a date, but the supplied details do not establish that the beta includes him or explain what participants can access. Further information would be needed to assess the test’s competitive relevance.

For now, the confirmed picture is specific but limited: Invincible VS begins its open beta on October 13, while Season 2 adds Angstrom Levy as the 21st playable character and third DLC fighter.
