NFL injury and roster updates for October 10

Availability updates ahead of Monday games

Wide receiver DJ Moore was set to be listed as questionable for Monday’s game against the Rams, according to head coach Joe Brady, as reported by NFL.com. Wide receiver Josh Palmer was ruled out for that game.

Defensive tackle Ed Oliver was also listed as unavailable for Monday. In a separate update, defensive lineman Aaron Donald had no game designation and was expected to play against the Bills. Safety Quentin Lake was listed as questionable.

Injured reserve and other status changes

Running back Chris Brooks was placed on injured reserve with an ankle injury. Wide receiver Michael Pittman was placed on injured reserve with a foot injury and was expected to miss at least four games. Cornerback Julian Neal was also placed on injured reserve.

Wide receiver Irv Charles was downgraded to out for Sunday’s game against the 49ers. Cornerback Dee Alford was listed as questionable with an ankle injury. Linebacker Noah Sewell was activated from the physically unable to perform list.

Signings and game-day elevations

NFL.com reported that defensive back Doneiko Slaughter was signed to the active roster from the practice squad. Cornerback Trevon Diggs was signed to the active roster, according to the roundup.

The roundup named running back Zavier Scott as a game-day elevation. It also listed wide receiver Dalen Cambre and linebacker Trace Ford, as well as running back Lew Nichols III and wide receiver Brandon Smith, for game-day elevations.

Update for Sunday's game in Washington

Defensive lineman Chauncey Golston was not traveling with his team to Washington and had previously been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Commanders. Defensive lineman Yahya Black was added to the injury report as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Colts.
