Tickets are available for Great Britain Men’s Development’s home game against Spain on Sunday 18 October, the British American Football Association (BAFA) says.

The game is scheduled for a 10:30 a.m. kickoff at Coventry’s Nick Newbold Stadium in the 2026–27 IFAF European Championship.

Development team’s European campaign

The Spain fixture will be the Development team’s first home game of the competition. BAFA says tickets can be purchased through its TicketTailor site.

Before hosting Spain, Great Britain Men’s Development are due to travel to Tbilisi, Georgia, to play the host team on Sunday 11 October. That game is scheduled for 6 p.m. local time, or 3 p.m. British Summer Time, at Mukhianis Rugby Complex.

A pathway for emerging players

BAFA says the Development team was established in 2025, replacing the under-19 programme, to give athletes experience in competitive international 11-a-side tackle American football.

The team is not restricted by age, but is focused on developing promising Great Britain talent under 24, including players from the growing BUCS talent pool.

Performance team also set for European action

Great Britain Men’s Performance are scheduled to begin their Level 1 campaign against Finland on Saturday 24 October at MUP Stadion in Vantaa. BAFA lists a 2 p.m. local kickoff, or noon BST.

BAFA says the Performance team’s originally scheduled 18 October fixture will not take place following Norway’s withdrawal from the competition. The Development team’s home game against Spain remains scheduled for that date.

BAFA says further information about team selection and live coverage will be announced.
