Spec IV Part 1 trailer shown in Singapore

A trailer ahead of the release

The sequence is clear: the trailer was presented at the Singapore round, and the first part of Spec IV is scheduled to follow on 15 October. That gives players a short window between the reveal and the stated release date, while leaving the contents of the update unconfirmed in the information provided.

For players, the trailer marks the first official look at this part of the update, but no specific additions or changes can be reported from the announcement alone. It is therefore too early to draw conclusions about what Spec IV will mean for the game.

The moment for the series

Showing the trailer during a Gran Turismo World Series event connects the update announcement with the game’s competitive calendar. For tournament organizers and streamers, the confirmed timing offers a point to track as the release approaches; the available details do not establish any effect on competitions or broadcasts.
