FIDAF announced on September 30, 2026, that 61 players have been called to the Italian senior tackle team’s training camp in Reggio Emilia on October 3–4.

The federation said head coach Brian Michitti will use the gathering to finalise the roster for the team’s game against Poland on October 10 in Wroclaw.

Training site in Reggio Emilia

The camp will be held at the Hogs Reggio Emilia sports facility at Via Mogadiscio 2. FIDAF said the call-up includes athletes and staff, with the player selection standing at 61.

The gathering follows the resumption of preparations the previous weekend in Ferrara, according to the federation.

Preparation for Poland

Michitti is expected to complete the roster during the Reggio Emilia camp before the scheduled October 10 matchup in Wroclaw. FIDAF’s announcement did not provide a final roster or further game details.
